Every tool on QuiverKit runs entirely inside your own browser using JavaScript. When you use the Word Counter, the PDF Merger, the Excel-to-PDF converter, or any other tool on this site, your files and text are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to, or stored on, any QuiverKit server. That isn't a policy choice we're promising to honor — it's how the tools are technically built to work in the first place.
We don't see, receive, or store the content of anything you type, paste, or upload into any tool on this site — no document text, no images, no PDFs, no spreadsheet data. There's no account system, so we don't hold any profile information about you. We don't use tracking cookies, and we don't sell or share data with advertisers, because there's no personal data from tool usage for us to share in the first place.
Like virtually any website, our hosting provider and content delivery network may automatically log basic technical information when you visit — such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested — for security and infrastructure purposes (for example, detecting abuse or diagnosing outages). This is standard server-log information common to nearly all websites and isn't tied to your tool usage or file content, since that content never reaches our servers.
Several tools — particularly the PDF and document conversion tools — load open-source JavaScript libraries (such as pdf-lib, pdf.js, mammoth.js, docx, SheetJS, JSZip, and PptxGenJS) from third-party content delivery networks (CDNs) like cdnjs and jsDelivr. These libraries run locally in your browser to power the tool's functionality; they are not used to transmit your files or text anywhere. Loading a script from a CDN may result in your browser making a standard network request to that CDN provider (as with any website that uses a CDN), which is separate from, and unrelated to, the processing of your actual file or text content.
Our Contact Us page opens your own email application with a pre-filled message; it does not submit your message through our servers or store it anywhere on this site. Whatever you choose to email us is handled the same way as any other email you send, subject to your own email provider's privacy practices.
QuiverKit is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children, consistent with the fact that we do not collect personal information from any user in the ordinary course of using our tools.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes to the site. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date.
If you have questions about this privacy policy or how QuiverKit handles data, please contact us.
